right i need urgent chats with everyone!

ok so that's one thing

next i urgently need to know how many people would be willing to donate!

it's £130 for 3 months!

now if everyone is willing to donate £10 a month it means we'll have enough to fully cover it! i would need the first 2 months upfront, but any money that is left over after its been payed will be given back!

i need to know A.S.A.P who is going to be able to donate £20 as soon as i know i've got the money i can get the server up and running.

i will be donating myself obviously, £10 a month, and i'm sure if enough people donate i could get it down to £5 a month eventually.

it will require everyone who is willing to donate to have a paypal account. if there are any problems with this again please don't hesitate to email me A.S.A.P

One last thing, if you know ceratin people are not regulaly visiting the forum please encourage them to do so. Also get encouraging people to sign up and become community members and clan members! At the moment we need to be spreading news of the server.

sounds goood, but as I said I wounds be able yet, make a donate link on the forum, so everyone can goo in there more easly

Just to let you lot know, when i was on last night, there werent many ppl on, bout 5-6, but i asked them all if they would play on an SbK server once it gets up and running, 5/6 of them said yes, also was talking to Spastech, n he said they were getting a server etc and said to sign up for ED then once the servers up join the leage tables.. so yer.. his clan (OTW) would ptobably be up for matches once we get set up..

All in all looks like the server could be a success!!

church doesnt have a fast enough internet connection to support running a server
I have no idea what we can do, i dunno how to run a server
the only thing i can think is that church sorts his life out and gets a fast internet connection

hmm I'm confussed.. dont servers have to be run on a single dedicated pc, in other words youcant use it for anything else? well at least when the server is running? (+ will have to be on 24/7 for a constant server?)

I gathered that you run the server yourself?
Someone needs to email inx or whichever company your lookin at, for more info. not exactly sure if the company leases you a server from which you run it off your own back, or if the server is run by the provider, and all you have to do it tweak the settings etc?

u can have the server your self or let the "company have it" u have access via ftp and such to edit the files as u want, and u can also do some of the stuffs ingame via R_con comands asfar as I know, but im no expert just stuff I ahve picked up playing vs geeks and such Razz
